€81m Celbridge mixed- res scheme on way

Construction works on an Ardstone Homes Limited backed development is expected to commence on site in Q2 2021. The €81.4 million residential development located at the townland of Crodaun in Celbridge in Co Kildare will comprise 22 apartments in two apartment blocks of four storeys in height; 12 one-bedroom maisonettes and 20 duplexes, and 218 houses. The houses come in a variety of forms including detached, semi-detached and terraced houses. A mix of house sizes is proposed to include 20 two-bedroom, 140 three-bedroom and 58 four-bedroom houses.

June decision on Alanna Roadbridge’s Westmeath SHD for 576 homes

Alanna Roadbridge Developments has submitted a strategic housing development application to An Bord Pleanála for the construction of 576 residential dwellings comprised of 285 houses and 291 apartments and duplex units. The €126 million residential development is located at Lissywollen in Co Westmeath, and the application is expected to be decided on by An Bord Pleanála in June.

Green light for €26m Bearna resi scheme

Burkeway Construction has been granted a strategic housing development planning application for a €26 million residential development at Trusky East in Bearna in Co Galway. The development allows for the construction of 121 residential units (com-prising of 52 houses and 69 apartments), a childcare facility and all other associated site works.

Tenders out for 546 apartments in Shankill

Tenders have been issued for the works contract for the design and construction of Shanganagh Castle Estate Housing Development. The €160 million apartment development in Shankill in south Co Dublin will consist of 546 apartments of two four-beds, 99 three-beds, 203 two-beds, 165 one-beds and 29 studios.

232 homes get go-ahead at former Delgany monastery site

Developer Drumakilla has been granted a strategic housing development planning application by An Bord Pleanála for a €51 million residential development on lands of some 6.2 hectares located between Con-vent Road and Bellevue Hill in Delgany, Co Wicklow (consisting of former Carmelite Monastery lands). Delgany Carmelite Monastery is a protected structure. Planning permission allows for 232 residential units comprising of 96 houses and 136 apartments, a crèche and associated site works.

Permission sought for €42m student digs in D14

Developer Colbeam has submitted a strategic housing development application for 698 student bed-space accommodation and associated site works. The €42 million student accommodation development is located beside Our Lady’s Grove in Goatstown, Dublin 14. An Bord Pleanála is expected to issue its decision by June 2021.

193 build-to-rent apartments approved for Shanganagh Road

ES Shan has been granted a strategic planning application by An Bord Pleanála for a €42 million build-to-rent apartment development located on the Shanganagh Road in Shankill, south Co Dublin. The planning permission allows for the construction of 193 apartments within four blocks ranging in height from five to eight storeys.
