NDFA Garda Divisional Headquarters
€27m Kevin Street Garda Divisional Headquaters
Construction work is expected to be complete in Q1 2017.
€25m Wexford Garda Divisional Headquarters, New Ross, Co. Wexford. Construction is expected to commence in September 2015 and take in the region of 24 Months to complete. Project ID: 57099

€13.7m Upgrade to Phoenix Park Tunnel
Work has commenced on the upgrade to the Phoenix Park Tunnel and is expected to take 12 months to complete
Work has commenced the main construction works on this power station in Ballina, Co. Mayo. Construction work is expected to be completed in Q1 2017.
€120m NDFA Courts Bundle PPP Programme
It is intended that new courthouse buildings will be developed in Drogheda (Project ID: 755372), Letterkenny (Project ID: 774855), Limerick (Project ID: 690070) and Wexford (Project ID: 774856) and also that refurbishment and extension works to existing courthouses will be carried out in Cork (Project ID: 774857), Mullingar (Project ID: 142028) and Waterford (Project ID: 636109).
A major contractor has been selected as the preferred bidder for the construction of the courts bundle. Construction work is expected to commence in November 2015 and take in the region of 18 months to complete.
Plans have been submitted to An Bord Pleanála for the Galway Harbour extension. The construction of a phased development of the existing Galway harbour which will incorporate the moving of the port south by reclaiming land from Galway Bay. Construction work is expected to commence in Q4 2015 and take 36 months to complete.
€18m Cruise Berth Facility Development
A Strategic Development Application has been lodged with An Bord Pleanala for an eight-year permission for the construction of a cruise berth facility comprising a new quay, berth and access causeway, dredging of a navigation channel and associated works, all at Dun Laoghaire Harbour.
Work commenced last month on the main track laying works for the Luas cross city scheme. The Luas Cross City is expected to be fully operational in Q3 2017.
€180m N7 Newlands Cross & N11 Arklow Rathnew PPP Scheme
BAM Contractors Limited, Co. Kildare completed the construction of this project in July 2015 three months ahead of schedule.
Tenders are expected to be sought from building contractors in Q3 2015 for the construction of the Thermal Treatment Plant in Tullamore, Co. Offaly. It is hopeful that construction work will commence before the end of 2015.
€11.5m N56 Boyoughter to Kilkenny Road Scheme
Work has started on the construction of the N56 Boyoughter to Kilkenny Road Scheme in June 2015. Construction work is expected to take in the region of 18 months to complete.
€220m N25 New Ross Bypass PPP Scheme
Construction work is expected to commence in Q4 2015 and take in the region of 30 months to complete.
The development of approximately 11,000m2 in number of separate structures will include: Sundry Demolition alternations and enabling works. Approximately 100 male cell units and 50 female cell units in separate blocks. Construction work is expected to commence in Q2 2016 and take in the region of 24 months to complete.
Work expected to soon be complete on this project. Construction work commenced in January 2014.
